VirtualWalk respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you provide to us remains confidential. In this privacy statement, you can read what data we collect if you use our services and/or products, the purposes for which we collect this data and how we use it. We also explain your rights, who has access to your data and how long we keep it. Processing purposes and retention period

VirtualWalk collects and processes data about you for the purposes described below. In doing so, we use both the data you provide and the data we collect ourselves (e.g. about your visit to our website).
We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes in question, or for as long as is required by law (e.g. obligation to retain accounting documents).

Fulfilling your order/provide the service
To process your order or carry out the service, we need your name, e-mail address, address, delivery address, payment details and sometimes also your telephone number, date of birth and some photographs of the services/facilities. This enables us to deliver your order/service and keep you informed of delivery progress. We are legally obliged to keep your order data for seven years.

Personalized content
To make your visit to our website as pleasant and useful as possible, we store data on your purchases and browsing behavior (visits, clicks, searches). We also use cookies and your IP address to make your browsing experience smoother and more enjoyable. However, you can re-fuse cookies (see our “cookies” policy). Cookies are stored for a limited time, depending on the type of cookie.

Contest
If you take part in an action or contests, we ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This enables us to launch the action and communicate the name(s) of the winner(s), as well as measure the response to our promotional actions. The terms and conditions of the competition specify how long your data will be kept.

Feedback
We value the feedback of our visitors. We only post reviews with your consent. If you wish to leave such a review on our website, you can decide whether or not to make your name or oth-er personal data visible to other visitors to the website. You can also use a pseudonym. Finally, you also have the option of indicating whether we may contact you regarding your feedback. We have the right to moderate ratings if they do not comply with our terms of use. Your review will be kept until you ask us to remove it.

Improving our services and website
To improve our services and website, we may use your e-mail address to ask you if you would like to take part in a satisfaction survey or a market study. When we use other parties, they are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. The length of time we keep your personal data varies according to the survey. As soon as the survey is over, we delete all personally identifiable data.

Social media networks
If you use social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin…), you can connect to certain pages of our website with your account and share these pages (for example via a “like” or “share” button). We do not have access to your social networking account. We advise you to read the privacy policies of the social networking platforms carefully so that you know what personal data is used, how and for what purposes it is used, and how you can adapt your privacy preferences.

Testimonies
The Company may use the services provided for referral/advertising purposes in an anonymous manner. The Company must, however, obtain your consent for references with explicit men-tion of your data. The Company may ask you to provide a written, oral or visual testimonial on the performance of the Services. You are free to refuse to provide such a testimonial at any time. Testimonials collected by the Company may be used for documentary, advertising or reference purposes.

Abuse and fraud
We may use customer data to prevent and investigate abuse and fraud. If necessary, we may pass on customer data to the relevant authorities.

Clients et professional partners
We also store personal data on the contact person of our customers and business partners. We treat this data as confidentially as all other customer data.

Legal reasons for processing

VirtualWalk processes personal data on the following legal grounds:
• consent (e.g. sending newsletters and invitations; collecting sensitive data)
• necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. fulfilling your order)
• necessary to comply with a legal obligation
• necessary to defend our legitimate business interests


Where personal data is processed on the legal grounds of consent, you always have the right to with-draw your consent.

Transfer to third parties

VirtualWalk does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your data internally with our employees (salaried or self-employed) as well as with certain subcontractors (accountant, delivery company, interim company, service provider, material or service supplier, etc.). In addition, we only share your personal data with third parties for the purposes of :
• processing your order ;
• hosting the website(s);
• creating (and distributing) newsletters and invitations (e.g. via Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).


Our employees and third parties are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data. We guarantee that they have taken the necessary protective measures to this effect.

Your rights concerning your personal data

You have the right to consult the personal data we hold on you, and you can rectify them (or have them rectified) if they are inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right to have your personal data deleted, to restrict its processing and to object to the processing of (part of) your personal data by us or by one of our subcontractors.
You also have the right to request a copy (in a structured, current and machine-readable form) of your personal data and to have it sent to another party.
You have the right to object free of charge to any processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

To prevent misuse, we ask you to also send us a copy of your identity card (possibly with a personal photo masked out).
